About
Puppy preschool is specifically designed for puppies 10 to 16 weeks of age. If puppies are to develop into normal, friendly and confident adults, they need to be regularly handled and to be exposed to many new and novel situations in a non threatening way. Puppy preschool classes ensure these interactions and experiences are in a positive and safe manner. Puppies also need to play with people and other dogs to improve their motor skills, develop confidence and learn how to interact and communicate with others.
What's Involved
Toilet Training Behaving calmly around other people and pets Settling into furever home Calming on cue Safety and health information Introduction to manners Basic cues including - sit, look, down, recall, wait and walking on a loose leash Preparing puppies for visits to vets, groomers and other social interactions Desensitisation to natural environment Understanding your puppy and how to communicate effectively Controlling unwanted behaviours such as jumping biting and chewing
Puppy Training
All training techniques are a science-based, force-free training based upon positive reinforcement methods. Providing your puppy with concrete knowledge and life long skills. Helping your fur baby put their best foot forward is the trainers main goal, however it is to also provide new owners with necessary information to provide proper training and to communicate with their pets at home.
Graduation
At the end of the last class of puppy school a small graduation will be held for your graduating puppy! Their will be photo opportunities and a graduation certificate for you to take home.
