Free Dental Check for Your Pet - Keep Their Smile Healthy

A Simple Step Towards Better Oral Health

Did you know that 80% of cats and dogs show signs of dental disease by the age of four? Dental health plays a crucial role in your pet’s overall well-being, affecting everything from their comfort while eating to their heart, liver, and kidney health.

At Ipswich Family Veterinary Clinic, we’re committed to helping pets live healthier, happier lives. That’s why we offer a free dental check-up for all dogs and cats - giving you peace of mind and helping to detect dental issues before they become serious problems.

What Happens During a Free Dental Check?

Our trained veterinary team will carefully assess your pet’s oral health by:

  • Examining their teeth and gums for signs of tartar, plaque, or inflammation
  • Checking for pain or discomfort that may indicate dental disease
  • Providing expert advice on home dental care, including brushing techniques and diet tips
  • Determining if a professional dental clean is needed and offering an estimate if further treatment is recommended

This free assessment is perfect for pet owners who aren’t sure whether their pet needs a dental procedure or just some extra dental care at home.

Why Is Dental Health Important for Pets?

Dental disease isn’t just about bad breath - if left untreated, it can cause pain, infections, and even impact vital organs. Common signs of dental problems include:

  • Bad breath
  • Red or bleeding gums
  • Yellow or brown tartar buildup
  • Drooling or difficulty eating
  • Pawing at the mouth or face

If you’ve noticed any of these signs, a free dental check-up is the best place to start.
